House rules
A few simple rules keep our homes comfortable for every guest and our neighbours happy. Each home's page also lists its own rules, and the Airbnb listing has the full details.
- Check-in and check-out
- Check-in is from 1 PM (2 PM at the Gulshan apartment) and check-out is by 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can often be arranged if you ask in advance.
- Late check-out (3-bedroom homes)
- At our Banani, Gulshan and Baridhara Prestige 3-bedroom homes, late check-out is USD 50 per hour after 10 AM, and check-out after 12 PM is charged as a full night.
- ID before arrival
- For building security, every guest sends a copy of their passport (Bangladeshi guests: NID or passport) before check-in.
- Guests and parties
- Only the guests on the booking may stay. No parties or events.
- Noise
- Please keep noise low, especially on balconies and late at night, out of respect for neighbours.
- No smoking indoors
- Smoking is not allowed inside any home. Smoking indoors carries a cleaning fee of USD 150 (1- and 2-bedroom homes) or USD 250 (3-bedroom homes) for odour removal and deep cleaning.
- Pets
- Pets are allowed only at the Elegant Apartment in Baridhara. Please message us before booking with a pet. Service animals may be allowed at other homes; ask us first.
- Late nights in Baridhara
- At several Baridhara buildings, the street door is locked from midnight until about 6 AM for security. Try to be back by midnight, or keep the guard's number, and tell us if you have an early flight.
- Building staff
- Building guards and caretakers help with luggage. If you ask building guards for personal errands, please pay them directly, as they are not our staff.
- Access cards and keys
- Please return all keys and access cards at check-out. A lost access card at Banani Central costs BDT 3,000.
- Saving power
- Please switch off lights and air conditioning when you go out.
- Safety
- Not every home has a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm. Each home's page says what it has.
